Two Months Later

Two months ago today Irene forever changed much of Vermont, but still today the effects are as wide spread as they were when the rains stopped falling.  It may not be on the national news anymore, but there are still lasting effects across the state.  I figured I would share some photos I took this week with you...

I really admire your photography. Your colors are so vivid. What do you use for editing? I have a Nikon D90 and am trying to learn all that I can. Keep up the beautiful work!!

Thanks Debbie! I edit my photos either in lightroom (if I am shooting in RAW format with my Canon 50D) or in Photoshop. All my HDR photos are processed with Photomatix and then edited in Photoshop. These photos here were taken with my iPhone and weren't edited.

The news coverage always leaves you wondering how those folks are doing after the cameras go away. Thank you for sharing some with us. Your pictures are very nice. Good luck to your community.

Sad photos of life AFTER a hurricane. Many years ago, we spent a week at a B&B in Vermont and loved it - such beauty.
