The Bump...Just Because.

Because I've started my new job (yesterday) and a full day on my feet is utterly exhausting.

Because, oddly enough, working an eight hour day as a nurse is way more demanding than most 24 hour days as an EMT

Because my time management after work is apparently fairly poor.

Because I don't have a day off until the 28th.  Seriously.

Because I don't have time to catch up on anything... housework, reading, blogs, life.

Because its been raining since Saturday and will rain until this Saturday.

Because all the flowers I bought are, well, not pretty and bloomed yet so I don't have anything exciting to take photos of.  (I bought bushes that need to grow)

Because I look like June Cleaver (in heels!) and I don't know where my husband's belt is in this photo.

But love it anyway...

The husband. Myself. And the babe at 22 weeks.

That's pretty much all I've got.  For now.

Such a cute bump picture. And your husband looks about as comfortable and happy to be dressed up as mine does!

Yeah yeah... I forgot the "a". I was a little exhausted. Ha. Clever though.

(pun intended) :)

Enjoy this time. You're still in control of your 'bump.' In a very few months, you will do as you're told by that precious little 'bump.' And, it's wonderful! Get some rest, whenever you can. Say? Didn't they teach you how to power-nap? Find someone at the hospital who knows how and let them teach you. You'll be stunned at the difference. Come visit when you can.

Wonderful photo. I always marvel that pregnant women can stand, and walk, in heels without toppling over. Impressive!
